EDM

Electronic dance music has always been a passion of mine as it is what got me into producing music in the first place. Sonorode as an EDM project encompasses the truest musical expression of myself.

My music spans across various genres, but I do find myself gravitating towards UK Hardcore, Drum 'n Bass and Dubstep more often than not. The overarching characteristics of my music are heavy focus on melodicism and evocativeness. The teaser video of my first album, Radius, gives a pretty good overview of what my music can sound like.

VGM

Having been both an avid gamer as well as a musician since I can think, I am highly passionate about both games and music and I bring that passion with me into the projects I'm a part of. I have a plethora of inspiration to draw from in both areas and thus thrive particularly when working in a highly involved, back-and-forth and iterative fashion. Your project is our project.

I'm going to want to play your prototypes, see your concept art and game design documents to immerse myself in the experience and dream up the music that is best fitting for your project. If wanted, I can assist you in creating a coherent concept for the soundtrack, although I'm also equally happy to work under the supervision of a sound director or general director who has a strong and clear vision.

My music has been described as evocative, melodic and often catchy. My genre capabilities range from electronic music to orchestral, rock/metal to classical and more.

The Murder Hotel (TBA)

Audio direction, composition, sound design

The Murder Hotel is a government grant-aided indie game by Wegenbartho Games. I am responsible for audio direction, composing major parts of the soundtrack as well as some sound design.

The Donnerwald Experiment (2019)

Composition, sound design

The Donnerwald Experiment is a mature dreampunk RPG made by Wegenbartho Games. I composed the majority of the game soundtrack and provided sound effects.

This game has a heavy focus on the characters, which there are tons of. The biggest challenge to tackle was understanding each character's unique background and characteristics to reflect and express that wholistically through the music as well. We managed to conceptualize a wide spectrum of expression resulting in soundtracks ranging from orchestral compositions to rock music to electro swing and much more genres, while still tying it all together in a coherent vibe and direction.
